Samples
of my maps

Maps for books come in a wide variety of . . .

       Sizes and shapes

       Cartographic styles

Quantity and quality of information and colors

Geographic information -- quantity and quality -- is what I specialize in.

I can create color maps. I can create shaded relief maps.

But, to be honest, if that's what you need, I'd suggest you try a competitor -- who probably will provide more what you want at a better price.

All my life I have striven to be a good communicator of information -- whether it be in radio (VERY early on), as an editor on newspapers (see my resume) or in cartography and map publishing.

Simply, the name of my game is solid, accurate, reliable geographic information. They say color sells. But I say black and white INFORMS the best.

Which brings me to infographics (see my heroes at About Me). Infographics usually are extremely informative (and I enjoy creating them, because most take a certain amount of artistic creativity as well as cartographic skill).

Infographics are my joy to create, but that may not be the map you need for your book. You may need a map that tells your book readers where places are. You may find in my gallery of samples an example of a map style that tells the story your book needs to tell at a comparatively low price.

If you need a simple map for an ad or brochure to locate your business, you'll find that, too.

Here then, in my gallery, you'll find examples of Gene Ingle's work -- make that his fun -- as well as brief comments about each and a little help on pricing (also see Ordering).

Please note that these examples have been enlarged or reduced to enhance this presentation on the web. Those that have been enlarged for viewing on the web probably would be reduced for use in a book, but they would still be highly readable. Those that have been reduced for viewing on the web might, in some cases, be too large for a book. Keep that in mind as you view the examples.

If you have any questions, see Contact.
